Who founded ClearCOGS?

ClearCOGS was founded in 2021 by Osarenkhoe (Osa) Osayanmo and Matt Wampler. They wanted to create an easy-to-use forecasting tool that empowered restaurant operators to make proactive decisions that reduce management stress, decreased food waste, and increased their bottom line.

ABOUT OSA:

Osa Osarenkhoe is well versed in the startup world, having launched two prior startup ventures as well as, co-founding Fifth Star Funds Venture Capital in Chicago where he sits on their investment committee. Osa holds a Masters Degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University and a BA in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

As a three-time founder, Osa loves applying the lessons he learned in the tech and finance world to the on-the-ground realities of restaurant operations in order to create a demonstrable impact in the space as well as on sustainability.

ABOUT MATT:

Matt Wampler is a former restaurant operator, who's recently moved into the technology side of the industry as CEO & co-founder of ClearCOGS, an AI company focused on eliminating waste in restaurant operations. His passions for restaurants and environmentalism have given him a unique understanding of sustainability and how restaurants can facilitate change while making their own lives easier.

Matt runs the day-to-day business operations and strategy for ClearCOGS. He prides himself on developing a team that provides top-notch customer service and creating long-lasting business relationships that prioritize addressing the individual challenges that their customers face.
